Cherri's Square 9

Here is my Square 9. It wasn't bad to do except I kept getting distracted and ended up undoing it countless times. LOL If I'd been paying attention, it would have been ok. The colors in this are Ranch Red and Buff.

Krystal's Square 19

This one is about a half inch too wide. i would have used a smaller needle for it. The wrapped slip stitches are interesting, though two warps required some tugging to get to the right length. Later on, I started wrapping them looser and they were a better length. Easy pattern to do and remember - this one whipped up quickly.

(Windsor Blue and Aran)

Krystal's Square 13

This square is just perfect. Stitches are right, but I think I used one or two less rows? Easy pattern to remember, and I might just have snuck through without any glaring errors in the pattern! LOL

(that was not an invitation to FIND any, friends!)

Krystal's Square 18

LTK 18:

How do I hate thee?
Let me count the ways:

- You shrunk up and are no longer the right size.
- Your slip stitches over 6 rows are horrible.
- You curl unbelievably
- You will be a BEAR to stitch to the afghan!

Cherri's Square 8

Here's my Square 8. This pattern would be great for a blanket. It's really easy as long as you keep your stuff lined up (which I didn't LOL). I got distracted so I had to frog some and redo but that was easy, too. I like this pattern. :) Oh, the colors are Buff and Dk Sage.

Cindy's Square 12

Here is my square 12. As usual it has a mistake in it. I ended up forgetting to move the yarn to the wrong side when slipping a stitch. I'll fix it eventually.

Cherri's Square 7

Here is my Square 7. The color is Buff. I'm gonna catch up to you guys. :)

Sherri's Square 19

Because I chose the Around the World Layout in 5 colors, I had to pick and choose which squares would be what colors before the knitting began. I was one short of a solid in cornmeal and I chose square 19 Instant Plaid to fill the bill. I noticed in the book's photo that only 5 repeats total were used, but the directions called for 6. Mine took 6.

Cherri's Square 6

My Square 6 is done! The color is Buff and I've decided I don't like purling in the back loop. It's very awkward and I knit too tightly to do it comfortably. I don't mind doing it now and then but more than that is too much. :)

Cherri's Square 5

I finished Square 5. I pinned it out since it's so stretchy. The color is Aran and I had to follow the pattern for the whole thing. I never did memorize it.

Cherri's Square 4

Square 4 is done! The color is Buff. I hope I can catch up to you guys. :)

Cherri's Square 3

This is my Square 3. I really like this pattern. I think it really looks like a basket. The color is Buff.

Cherri's Square 2

Here is my Square 2. The colors are Buff and Ranch Red. It worked up easily. :)

Laura's Square 10

Finished this one a while ago too, don't think I made any changes. Now for 11. 12. 13, 17, and 18...EEK! I will have to knit like crazy in June to catch up.

Laura's Square 9

Finished this a while ago, don't remember if I made any changes.

Donna's square 17

This one is square 17. I enjoyed making this and it seemed to go quickly.

Donna's square 12

Here is my square 12. It was pretty easy and quick to make.

Tracy's square 12

Here is square 12, I knit it today, quick and easy.

Tracy's square 17

Here is my square 17. I didn't pin it down to take a photo, so the bottom is a bit curled up.

Cherri's Square 1

Here is my first square. It looks black but really it's dark sage and aran. It turned out to be 9" square using size 6 needles. I'm glad I remembered how to knit. :)

Cherri's Yarn

Here are my yarn choices for the LTK. They are RHSS in aran, buff, ranch red & dark sage. I can't wait for my book so I can plan a layout.

Wendy's Square 18

Here is my Square 18, Oh I liked this one and it was so easy and quick to do. It makes a change from some of the others.

Wendy's Square 12

Here is my Square 12, I really liked this one although I am sick of the slip stitches

Cindy's Square 18

I found that slipping stitches for 6 rows made the square kind of ripply. (It is square even though it doesn't look it, blame it on the lousy photography!)
I had to do an extra 8 rows to make it big enough.

Cindy's Square 17

Here is my square 17. This pattern is really too busy for my taste, but it was pretty easy to knit. The back looks better than the right side in my opinion.

Heather's Square 8

Here is square 8. I really liked doing this one and it went real quick.

Heather's Square 7

Ok I finally got around to taking some photos of my squares so far.

I finally got through square 7 though yet again I messed up *sigh* anyway here it is.

Cindy's Square 11

Here is my square 11. It has a mistake in it, (as usual). eventually I might go back and fix it, but for now, I'm just leaving it as it is.
I ended up doing 76 rows, instead of the 82 rows the pattern called for.

Sherri's Square 18

Today was the first time in a while that I have knitted on the afghan. I was very excited to get started, but less enthusiastic after the third row. The slip stitches that are carried up six rows create the hexagon pattern, but those slip stitches cause the square to not lie flat. Hopefully the square will behave when it is joined with all the other squares.

Sherri's Square 12

I did this one a while ago. This pattern would make a cute baby blanket.

Sherri's Square 17

I had such a hard time with this square. I don't know if it is because I took a really long break from knitting, or if it was the color, or what my problem was. Everytime, I worked on this one I would nod off zzzzzz.....

Krystal's Square 12

Here's my square 12. Good thing my mistake is smack in the middle - it almost looks deliberate! :D

I used size 7 needles on this one and kept a tighter tension on the needles. It gave me a better, more uniform result, I think.

Krystal's Square 17

Here's my square 17. I liked it, had to use only 41 stitches, though!! You can see a couple mistakes, but I'm STILL not undoing it! LOL!

Karen's square 11

Oops forgot to post this....
You can see my little boo-booo. But I'll just say those two penguins are holding hands :)

Donna's square 11

Here is my square 11. It was pretty easy and worked up pretty quick. I didn't use as many stitches or rows as the book asked for.
