Pauline Square 9

Not the best picture but the weather here is pretty ordinary at the moment and not predicted to get better. I had to pin it out so you can see the pattern better. It curls alot. Pretty pattern though.

Pauline's square # 7

I finally finished this square. It doesn't look square in the picture not sure why that is. Glad this pattern is done. It is pretty, but it took alot of concentration.

Pauline's square #6

Didn't like this pattern at all. It looks nice but the stitches are nasty. My edges really need improving on this but I'm not doing it again. Cream is the colour used in this square.

Pauline's square #5

Finished this square last night. Really like this pattern. This is in beige. I cast on 45 stitches, it looks a little narrow but blocking will bring it up to size. Also didn't need the last 3 row repeat it suggested.
I'm thinking I might only use the 3 colours and join with the 4th. Plain squares in cream and beige and 2 colours in Heritage red and alternate between the cream and beige. Joining in black.

Pauline's square #4

I finished this square today. It was pretty easy as long as I kept my mind on the subject. This one is in cream.

Pauline's square #2

I have chosen to use my own colour scheme instead of the choice in the book. This has bone/beige colour and the heritage red again.
On to square #3.

Pauline: These are my colours

I'm using the cream for most of the plain blocks and the other colours will be for the multicoloured squares. Then the black will be the borders. At least I think that is how it will be. I'm going to use the diagonal layout. Plain squares in one row and muti in the others.
