Karen's Square 9

Here is my completed LTK square 9. I didn't get the sl 3 very well... It tends to pull since I didn't watch what I was doing properly... But this is all about learning so that is good! You can also see how much this curls but the number of pins holding this baby down :)

Heather's Square 3

I finished square 3 finally *yay* Only took me 12 days. My hands kept cramping. I hope I figure out a good tension soon or I won't make it through all 63 squares. Lol.

I do like the look of this pattern.

Tracy's square 9

I finished this square this afternoon. It was pretty easy to make, hopefully next time my stitches will be more even.

Sherri's Square 9

The first of the mosaic squares which look difficult, but are in fact really easy. New skills learned for this one are sl wyib (slip with yarn in back) and sl wyif (slip with yarn in front).

Laura's Square 8

This square was a breeze after the previous few squares. New technique, knitting in the row below was not as difficult as one might expect. Plus it has way less stiches than other squares. I think it looks like space invaders though! All in all happy with this one!

Laura's Square 7

This square seemed to take a really long time to make. I am not sure if it is the combination of needing to concentrate every second, and front/back stitches that made this square drag but it is finished. On the other hand, I like the look a lot, and actually like both front and back of this square, hence both pictures.

Cindy's Square 8

Here is my square 8. Despite what the picture looks like, it really is a square. I started with 32 stitches and should have used 34, since it is a little narrower than my other squares. I will just have to tug on it a little. I enjoyed knitting this square.

Shelby's square 8

Finally a two-color square! This one was also fun and easy to do.

If you make this, don't be intimidated by the directions.

Shelby's square 7

This was a fun square to make, but I am getting tired of plain colors!!

Heather's Square 2

Here is my square 2. I've still got alot of work to do with my tension. It is bigger than the 1st square but I think it will work with it.

Krystal's Square 8

Here is my LTK S8 in RHSS Buff and Windsor. I went back to the size 5 needles for this one and used the 30 sts it called for. It's just the right size, but I think I went to 60 rows (30 repeats).

I found the st in row below easier if I pulled my work a little horizontally before I inserted the needle. It opened up the stitch to work into nicely.

This square was very quick and fun to do!

Tracy's square 8

I finished the square last night and I like this one a lot. Like Karen, I would like to make an afghan from this stitch one of these years. It is just about the same size as all my other squares.

Karen's square 8

This square was fun to do. I am almost tempted to do an entire afghan with different color combinations of this square. I think it would look neat when done that way. As if I have the time to make another blanket...

Finished LTK#8 the other day. Really like this pattern. My favorite so far.

Donna's sqaure 8

I actually finished this a few days ago. It was so much easier compared to the last two. I really enjoyed working on this one.

Heather- square 1

Here is my first square. It is a little sloppy but I guess I'll get better as I go. :)

Heather- My yarn colors

This isn't a very good photo but I'm too lazy to pull the yarn out of the tote to take a photo LOL. Besides everybody else is way past this part so it's just a formality now. Hehe.

I'm just using what's in my stash except for the soft white. That I have going in a couple projects so I'll have to buy more of that.

Cindy's Square 7

Finally I have finished this square. I had all sorts of trouble keeping track of where I was in the pattern, so I finally gave up on the purl and knit in the back and did regular purling and knitting. This square has a little "character" from all the frogging I did to it.

Karen's square #7

Finally I have completed square 7. Heavens that took me a long time! I also found I had to pay attention to what I was doing or I would goof something up... On to square 8 (tomorrow)

Wendy's Square 8

Here is my Square 8, I had so much trouble in the beginning with this one and it had nothing to do with the knit in the stitch below. I just didnt read the pattern. Lesson to be learned, dont start a new square at 11.30pm at night.

Krystal's Square 7

This is in RHSS Buff. FINALLY I get to add a new color with S8!!!

I didn't mind the ptbl in this square.

I stayed with the Size 8 needles on this one, to keep my tension snug and even throughout with those ptbl and ktbl stitches like S7.

I think this one looks really neat!

Donna's Square 7

Here is my square 7. I'm glad the back loop stitches are over. They weren't hard but I had a hard time remembering to go through the back loops. It's a pretty square but it was hard to keep track of where I was in a row. This one definitely needed my full concentration.

Sherri's Square 8

Ah... Square 8, Rose Fabric. It's rather fitting that this square is done in rosy pinks, don't you think?
A new skill is required for this one, knit in the stitch below. Illustration of the stitch can be found here.

Sherri's Square 7

The only thing I have to say that bothered me while knitting this square was the wonky edges. I'm guessing that once you start sewing it to another square that the edge might start behaving. I vaguely remember celebrating that the knit through the back stitches were over.

It was pointed out to me that I had snapped a photo of the wrong side of the square. So for your viewing pleasure here is another of the flip side. : ) I believe it would be the one on the left.

Wendy's Square 7

Here is my square number 7. I couldnt wait to finish the ptbl. Hope we dont have to do anymore of those for awhile.

Pauline's square # 7

I finally finished this square. It doesn't look square in the picture not sure why that is. Glad this pattern is done. It is pretty, but it took alot of concentration.

Tracy's square 7

I finished square 7 this morning. It is a pretty pattern. I haven't measured it against the other squares for size yet, but it looks to be about the same size as the others.

Donna's Square 6

This one took me all week to do. The stitch wasn't hard to learn. But I don't like it. It makes the square seem to go slower to me. It's exactly the right height and if I tug it a bit it becomes the same size as square 1.

Cindy's Square 6

I cannot say that I like this pattern much. I "fudged" it a little so that I wouldn't have the uneven look of doing the last three rows of the pattern.

Shelby's Square 6

Square 6 finished. Once again, it has not been blocked.

Wasn't too bad to make, but I am getting bored with single color blocks.

Laura's Square 6

Here is square six. It took a long time to make, and I am not sure why. I just didn't have the mojo I guess.

I hope hubby photographed it the right side up!
