Here is my square 11. This was done on size 5 needles, and came out to the right width with the given number of stitches to cast on. I only did 70-something rows, though - not the 82 it called for.
Halfway through I realized that it doesn't specify how to slip you stitches, and I was slipping "purl-wise" on both right and wrong sides. Then I switched to slipping "knit-wise" on the right and "purl-wise" on the wrong sides. I don't think it looks much different, though.
(It was easier for some reason)
We're all a little tired of the mosaics, so we're going to jump to S17 and then come back to S12. However, by the looks of it, the slip stitch ones don't appear to be much different than the mosaics.

Cindy's Square 10
Here is my square 10. I made a mistake close to the beginning, but didn't notice it until I was nearly finished, because of how much this block curls. I might try to fix it using duplicate stitch embroidery, but I will likely just let it be. In the finished afghan, I doubt it will be very noticable.

Krystal's Square 10
Yes, I know there's a mistake in there. I'm not very good at "unknitting" and I didn't see my mistake for a couple rows later.
It'll just have to stay there.
I really don't like these mosaics. I can't say why, I"m just tired of them and they're not very impressive when looking at them in "real life".
I haven't even started square 11!!

Krystal's Square 9
Here is my square 9 in TLC country blue and RHSS buff. Reminds me of something from the 70's.
I don't care for this technique - it looks OK in a picture, but the sl st to create the mosaic effect are raised compared to the rest of the pattern and I don't like that look.
I did the number of rows and stitches it calls for, but this one is a pain to measure as it curls all over the place - worse than any other square yet!
I sure hope there's another method of making mosaic that doesn't have those slip stitches, because I won't ever do mosaic if there isn't. :D
On to square 10!

This one was easy to do. The hardest part I had was getting the width the right size. It curls pretty bad. I had to pin it to get the picture. I like the look of this pattern. It's really neat.
